PAC-UK’s Chief Executive Officer Peter Sandiford has welcomed the launch of the Adoption Support Fund, which is rolled out nationally from today.
Following assessment of adoption support needs by their local authority adopters will now be able to access a number of therapeutic support services - see here for fuller details.
Peter, a member of the Adoption Leadership Board, welcomed the new fund:
"The fund should provide adoptive families with the support they need and remove what many have experienced as a postcode lottery of service provision. PAC-UK looks forward to working with all in the adoption sector to make access to services more straightforward and responsive to need".
