Birth Parent Voice Consultation - A survey to find out what support people have had and what they think could be better.
All adoption services across the Yorkshire and Humber region are becoming part of 3 Regional Adoption Agencies. These three regional adoption agencies will be based in:
- West Yorkshire
- North Yorkshire and the Humber
- South Yorkshire
They will all come under the title of "OneAdoption." So far one of them is up and running - OneAdoption West, covering the following areas:
- Bradford
- Calderdale
- Kirklees
- Leeds
- Wakefield

To make sure that these new agencies provide the kinds of support that people need, OneAdoption is asking the people using the services what their experience is.
OneAdoption has asked After Adoption and PAC-UK to find out the experiences of people whose children have been adopted, or where social workers have considered adoption for their children.
This event is to bring people together so they can tell us what their experiences of support have been, and what they think could be done differently.
