'Festive Meet-up' for North London Special Guardianship Families
Description:
This FREE to attend in-person 'Festive Meet-up' event is open to special guardianship families from the North London boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Islington.
The event will take place at our fully accessible Family Action Head Office, 34 Wharf Road, London, N1 7GR on Friday 20 December 2024.
As well as being a great opportunity to meet other special guardianship families, this 'Festive Meet-up' will have fun activities for children to enjoy, including; a magician (from 3.00pm to 4.00pm), break out rooms for arts and craft activities and a small soft play area for younger children. Refreshments and snacks are also provided for adults and children.

Who should attend
This event is strictly open to special guardianship families from the North London boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Islington.
This event will be capped at 50 attendees due to the size of the venue, so please let us know if your plans change and you are unable to attend so we can free up your place/s.
Please answer the dietary requirements/allergies question as free refreshments and snacks will be provided - if you or anyone attending from your family has specific needs and would prefer to bring your own snacks for yourself you are welcome to do so.
IMPORTANT: If two adults from your family are attending with children, please complete the 'Attending Partner Information' questions - this is important to ensure your partners place is counted. We have added 'Attending Child 1' and 'Attending Child 2' questions for you to complete. If more than two children from your family are attending, please add their details within the 'Other Information' text box at the end of the form. All children attending must be accompanied by an adult from your family for the duration of the event.
Venue and public transport
Our Family Action Head Office is located on a side street off City Road - if travelling by London Underground, the nearest stations are Old Street and Angel on the Northern Line. A number of buses stop close by - we will send a map with local transport options closer to the time. Unfortunately, there is no free parking nearby.
Family Action Toy Appeal
PAC-UK are part of the Family Action Toy Appeal and we have been able to secure free gifts for children from a corporate partner for all families who attend this event. These are small gifts that will have a typical retail value of around £10 each.
We have added a question on the registration form for you to complete if you would like us to put aside a gift for you to collect from us at the end of the event.
